About A Tribe Called Bibliophile
A Tribe Called Bibliophile is a community of Black readers and writers in Denver, CO. We come together to connect and discuss fiction (fantasy, romance, thrillers, speculative fiction etc.) and non‑fiction (memoir, biography, essays, cultural narratives etc.) books, with a special love for stories by BIPOC authors. This book club is also a subgroup under the "Black In Denver" network on Facebook. Like other subgroups in that network, this book club is committed to building enriching community in the Denver area based on our shared interest.
đź—“ How It Works
- Meetings: The last Wednesday of each month from 6:30–8:30 PM at Lighthouse Writers Workshop. RSVP under the Meetings tab
- Readings: Stay updated on monthly reads by visiting the Currently Reading tab. For an engaging discussion, please read as much of the book as you can.
- Book Selection: Have a book suggestion? Add it to the Books We Want to Read tab. On the last Monday of the month, we’ll randomly choose 6 books from that list & create a Voting Poll. The winning book will be announced at the end of our meeting.
- Snacks: Community snacks are welcome and encouraged. List what you're bringing under the Community Messages Tab.
