This book is so deeply impactful it was what i needed, when I needed it. Here is my review from Instagram:

I read an arc for this last year and was deep in feelings and thoughts during the holiday season.
I ached for this profound story again and did the audio version recently, and it was truly spectacular.
Kennedy Ryan is my all time favorite author hands down. I will go to war for this woman.
But THIS BOOK itâs just the most masterful of storytelling pieces sheâs done to this date.
I wish I could articulate the sensations and feeling I went through while reading but more so the fact that I can relate so much to Yasmen, and her journey out of her darkest era. The strength it takes, the pushing forward, the self forgiveness.
I was in a funk this holiday season, I missed my loved ones that are no longer here, and hearing both Yasmen and Josiahâs stories that felt so similar to mine, well there are no words. Just tears LOTS OF CLEANSING TEARS.
I owe this book so much, the validation of my own depression being so eloquently written on paper through someone elseâs story had jolted me back to life.
I think this is just a love letter to Kennedy. Thank you for this book, queen.

This one really tugged on my heart strings! I was rooting for Josiah & Yasmen from the beginning. What a beautiful story.
Before I Let Goâ¦this was so beautiful and so real. I really enjoyed Yasmen and Josiahâs journey through love and loss. It really hit home for me. Kennedy Ryan did a fantastic job. I loved this book so much!
Great book and storyline. I resonated with the characters. Kennedy has great storytelling capabilities. There are some parts that felt a little unnecessary to the plot. Overall great read! It lived up to the hype and did not disappoint
