Introduce yourself to new genres, join us for social events and fun local getaways, and get ready to build lifelong friendships with people in Seattle who share the same passion for books as you! Come alone or bring a friend, regardless we’re happy you found us! 

*We typically meet on the last Sunday of every month at 5pm in downtown Seattle! We’re always open to trying new spots so if you have a meeting recommedation be sure to let us know! 

*We enjoy escaping the horrors of reality so we typically read ✨FICTION✨ From fantasy to horror to historical and everything in between! 

The first step is certainly joining us here on the bookclubs app! Next, follow our instagram for frequent updates, photos and ongoing engagement! We have an open door policy meaning come as you can! We all have lives, families and other hobbies so if you if you can’t make it to a meeting, can’t finish the book, or go MIA for a while—no biggie! We’re here when you’re ready! 

We’re changing how we’re choosing books! Historically, we’ve done polls to choose our books but that left space for people who only followed our bookclub to participate in polls when they didn’t actually participate. We will be using the bookclubs app moving forward AND/OR picking our book at the end of each monthly meeting.

The goal is to read the group chosen book by the end of the month before our bookclub meeting on the last Sunday of the month. There’s no pressure to finish the book but know there will be spoilers when we talk about it as a group! 

Historically, no. At this time, the only costs to our bookclub are the social events we host. To participate, you’ll have to purchase your own ticket(s) to those events. 

Booked in Seattle is a social/bookclub for women in Seattle. To ensure our members feel safe at all events our bookclub is only open to women. We will host events where you can bring your male partner. In addition, I can recommend a bookclub for Men in Seattle. Thank you for understanding!
