About Melanin & Mimosas
Welcome to our book club for Black girls who not only love reading, but also enjoy conversation, and sisterhood. We meet 1-2 times a month (once in-person and an optional virtual mid-book depending on eveyeone’s availability) to dive into stories across genres: fiction, nonfiction, romance, thrillers, and more. While we’ll highlight Black authors, we’re open to any book that sparks conversation.
Each meeting is a mix of book discussion and real connection. We want this to feel like a safe, fun space where you can laugh, share, and build friendships. Participation is simple: read what you can, come with an open mind, and be respectful of everyone’s thoughts and experiences. Even if you don’t finish the book, you’re still welcome! 🩶
