4.5 stars out of 5!
This was almost a perfect book for me, but I feel like it would be hard to find another book that was as perfect as It Ends With Us. It Ends With Us was the first book I read by CoHo and it just hit a mark with me. It showed me what a hard-hitting contemporary romance should be, without me realizing that that book had hard-hitting issues. The main topic that arose was a surprise to me and I loved how CoHo has a special way of making the reader feel for the ”villain.” Granted, this is not a review for It Ends With Us, I just felt the need to explain what it is that I didn't even know that I desire from a CoHo book.
I love Colleen Hoover’s imaginative mind. She tends to find subjects to write about, that I didn't even know I wanted or needed in my life. This was a very interesting romance, but it was also a story about a relationship between a mother and a daughter. My mother had passed a day just barely over six years ago and the selflessness that is shown with Morgan reminds me of my own mother. To me, that is the utmost compliment as my mother was an amazing, caring, and selfless woman.
This story took so many amazing and heartwrenching turns.

My only complaint is I wanted more from Chris’s perspective. I wanted to know more about the decisions he made in the current day and I wanted to feel for him as a person, as well as more from Jenny. I realize that one of the storylines had to do with the mysterious letter to Chris from Jenny and how Morgan realizes that she doesn’t ultimately need to know what was written between them... although, I felt like I needed that, as a reader. Referencing back to my earlier connection with It Ends With Us I need that connection to the villain(s).
Ok, I’m going to now end this 3:30 am review because I am probably not expressing my thoughts clearly. I give myself an average C+ or B- for this review. I have no clue why in grading myself, but there you go. I did. Good night, good morning, or good afternoon, depending on when you read this review.

great story
Loved the story lines. Definitely didn’t see some of the twists and turns coming. Makes you laugh and cry. Recommend!

I really loved this one! I felt so much for Morgan and although the storyline doesn't directly reflect my relationship with my mom I understood my mom a lot more. The cross-over with the characters makes for a very interesting story and really had me dying to finish.
No one makes me feel at one with characters like Colleen does, she fully submerges me in her books! I smile, I laugh, I’m frustrated, I cry all because her writing makes you become the book!
