Ugly Love: A Novel

From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Reminders of Him and It Ends with Us comes a hauntingly seductive tale of love, control, and the devastating secrets that can destroy it all.
When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, it isn’t love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction.
Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.
Never ask about the past.
Don’t expect a future.
They think they can handle it, but realize almost immediately they can’t handle it at all.
Hearts get infiltrated.
Promises get broken.
Rules get shattered.
Love gets ugly.

Readers say *Ugly Love* by Colleen Hoover offers a passionate, emotionally charged romance with strong writing and intense chemistry between Tate and ...
I really enjoyed this book. It was aggravating, sad, and there were definitely some steamy scenes (*ahem* the car scene). I really liked the characters, although past Miles was a little stalky with his thoughts of Rachel.
I only wish that we could've had more of Miles's current day POV. I really think the romance angle would've been strengthened if we could've been let into his thoughts of Tate a little more. It was like his character went from a grieving ass (a hot ass at that) to all a sudden in love with Tate in the last bit of the book. I personally enjoy it when we know the guy is struggling with the temptation as well.
