I loved the book and the soundtrack.
I was hoping that I would LOVE this story, but instead, I liked it.
This book definitely plays around with the concept of forbidden love and the complexities of what's right vs. wrong. As a reader, I noticed that I was playing a match of ping pong with my own morality. The story had me wondering what I would've done in Sydney's or Ridge's position. Would I have even put myself in that situation, to begin with? I don't think I would, but it just shows the temptations and how weak humans can be. Thanks a lot, Eve, you just had to have that damn apple, didn't you?! Lol
It was really cool that there was a playlist that went along with the lyrics to the songs in the story. It really added a fun interactive aspect.
My favorite part of this story was actually how clearly Colleen Hoover was able to express the feelings and the complexities of the relationships into words. Unlike me with writing these reviews, she's able to clearly explain the thoughts of everyone without confusion. Eh, I tried.
