But the mysterious Holder has been keeping secrets of his own, and once they are revealed, Sky is changed forever and her ability to trust may be a casualty of the truth.

Only by courageously facing the stark revelations can Sky and Holder hope to heal their emotional scars and find a way to live and love without boundaries. Hopeless is a novel that will leave you breathless, entranced, and remembering your own first love.

The great thing about books is that they make you feel. There’s a deep connection that you go through when reading, it’s as if you are experiencing another life. That’s what Colleen Hoover’s books do for me. They make me live through her characters. Hopeless, was no exception. This was a beautiful story that made me laugh out loud (right, sky? Lol) and yes, at times even had me feeling hopeless. There are so many layers to CoHo’s writing that sets her books a part from the rest. The way the storylines mesh and come together in harmony is captivating; but the way she’s able to eloquently explain her thoughts and make the story make sense is an art. Sometimes when a story has so many elements that are involved in a plot, the conclusion or reveal can be convoluted but I’ve never had that issue with CoHo’s books. She’s a master of her art. I love living the lives of the characters she creates. I don’t just like her books. I LIVE her books.

Just like some of her other books, just when you think it couldn't get crazier, it does!

What a roller coaster. A great book with some really amazing characters. Some pretty insane twists that threw me.

Highly recommend if you've read any of Rebecca Donovan's Reason to Breathe series. The two main characters remind me of Evan and Emma.

Very addictive, and a mix of romance, suspense and mystery. I love books I can't put down so this was perfect. Onto book 2- Losing Hope.
