This book was a smooth ride from start to finish. I never found myself reading a boring chapter and it was an easy page-turner because I wanted to know Samson's secrets so badly and I wanted to know when and how Beya and him would finally accept their feelings for each other. I thoroughly enjoyed every part of this novel and I did not find myself getting annoyed with any of the characters like I usually do.
This book is a solid four stars and I do recommend it for lovers of dramatic romances, and even though the characters were in their younger years it did not feel like a Y/A novel. The only reason I am knocking off a star is because I do think that the last 5 or so chapters of the novel all came on so fast with so much information and extra drama just for a quick (but nice) ending. Additionally, although I didn't not like Samson's character, it was difficult to feel any attachment or emotion towards him because us readers along with Beya knew so little about him. Overall this book is a solid read and I think it is a severely underrated CoHo book.
EDIT: I have lowered my rating of this book from 4 stars to 3 because after talking about it with my friend I realized how unrealistic and just improbable it was with a lot of the events that happened. Like what are the odds of these traumatic events happening. And also I'm not sure why CoHo sprinkled in mentions of disordered eating into the book. It had nothing to do with the plot and if it won't be talked about seriously and in-depth it shouldn't even be mentioned. Keeping it at 3 stars though because I did enjoy the build up to the romance and I still think if you're into dramatic romantic books where everything goes wrong then this is definitely for you.

I could not love this book more. It may be my favorite @colleenhoover read yet. The story was beautifully heartbreaking at times and so wonderful at others. I feel like I felt every emotion Beyah and Samson felt. Both of them have had so much tragedy in their lives and it brings them together in the best way. But, when Samsonâs true identity is revealed, can both his and Beyahâs heart bones be able to take it, or will they break? â¤ï¸
