About TBR Support Group

Welcome to your TBR Support Group!

A come-as-you-are, choose-your-own-adventure book club for people whose TBR piles are aspirational at best, mildly concerning at worst.

No required readings, no deadlines, and absolutely no pressure. Read what you want, at your own pace, following your own tastes. Abandon a book halfway if you must (we support you). Then once a month, come talk about it.

We gather to share the books that moved us, surprised us, annoyed us, or completely derailed our sleep schedules. Expect cozy conversations where we swap stories from the page and from real life, discover our next reads, and gently enable one another’s ever-growing TBR piles.

This is a support group, after all. Recovery is not the goal.

A little bit about me:
Hi, I’m Morgan! I'm a queer woman in my 30s who loves cats, nature, and tarot! I've been calling NYC home for a few years now. I created this free book club to build a welcoming community of readers (and possibly future friends!) around the Upper East Side/Upper West Side because let's be honest, making friends as an adult is HARD! (especially when you spend most of your evenings/weekends cuddled up on the couch binging trashy reality tv...)

We’ll meet once a month, late morning or early afternoon on a Saturday/Sunday, gathering at a favorite café, brunch spot, or soaking up some sunshine in Central Park. This club is about more than just books; it’s about conversation, connection, and the stories that shape us.

Please only join if you are serious about attending in-person meet ups! I am going to keep the member size small because, as an introvert myself, large group gatherings can be overwhelming!!

I can’t wait to meet you, hear what you’re reading, and learn about the stories that make up your life ✨
