Moonlit Margins

Welcome to Moonlit Margins, a book club for readers who love immersive stories and thoughtful conversation in cozy, beautiful spaces.

We’ll gather monthly virtually, or join us in Virginia at local cafes, wineries, bookstores, restaurants, and other atmospheric spots around the area to discuss a wide range of books including literary fiction, dark romance, fantasy, mysteries, dark academia, contemporary fiction, and the occasional emotionally devastating favorite (no genre is excluded here)!

This club is meant to feel warm, welcoming, and low pressure. Whether you annotate every page or just show up excited to talk about the book, you belong here.

Our goal is to build a community of readers who love getting lost in stories and connecting with others who do too. Expect good books, cozy vibes, lively discussions, and plenty of recommendations added to your ever growing TBR pile.

Please note: Moonlit Margins is a 21+ book club. Many of the books we read and discussions we have may include mature themes and explicit sexual content. We also may hold in person meetings at local breweries/bars/wineries (you don't need to drink, but you need to be able to gain access to these locations). By joining, members acknowledge that this is an adult space intended for readers ages 21 and older.
