ABOUT LUXE LIT SOCIETY

Luxe Lit Society is a DMV book club for readers who love discovering great books, celebrating Black authors, and connecting with other readers.

WHAT WE READ

We read a little bit of everything, including romance, urban fiction, fantasy, supernatural, dark romance, and more. We center Black authors and stories, but all genres are welcome.

HOW WE PARTICIPATE

Each month, we have a themed TBR and a monthly Zoom call where we talk about our TBR, share our thoughts, and discuss any other books that kept us entertained throughout the month.

CLUB GUIDELINES

• Read What You Love

There is no judgment about what you choose to read. Bring your favorite genres, authors, and books to the conversation.

• Respect Every Reader

Everyone has different tastes. Share your opinions, have respectful discussions, and remember that we can disagree about a book without making it personal.

• Be Kind

No bullying, harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks.

• Use Spoiler Warnings

Please give others a heads-up before discussing major plot points, endings, or twists.

• Share Your Reading Life

Reviews, recommendations, reading updates, book hauls, questions, and bookish conversations are always welcome.
