About Letters On Paper

We meet about every 4-6 weeks to accommodate any members who need time to reserve the books at the library, order books online or have enough time to listen to the audio book. Our club has no specific genre however we have been gravitating towards Thrillers lately. All suggestions are welcome! I also list on the meeting agendas that we can discuss any previous books that we have read at our future meetings. I set aside time for this during each meeting so that if you were unable to attend a past meeting you still get the opportunity to discuss the book if you would like to. There are no club participation guidelines or anything like that. We are extremely welcoming and chill. After each meeting a bunch of us stay on and chat about anything random.. non book related (this is optional). We chat about pop culture, our lives, the weather or seriously anything random and it's great. It is just so awesome to get to meet new people from all around the country. Join us!

About me:

I hardly ever read books years ago. When my friend Faith would mention books to me, I would say sarcastically “What is that, letters on paper”? Shout out to Faith!

During the pandemic I decided to renovate my office/guest room. I bought cute decorative books from Esty. One day I decided to read one of the books and I was hooked. I started reading “White Fur” and realized, hey reading isn’t that bad lol. Maybe I’ll start reading more letters on paper now.

I like true crime, fantasy, sci-fi, gardening, yoga, baking, thrifting, festivals, pop culture, interior design, dancing and karaoke at home (perfectly off key) etc. I also love walking around Home Goods for no good reason.

My true love is DOGS. I absolutely adore dogs and animals in general ( I love dog sitting and fostering rescues).

My second true love is Trash Reality TV. The brain cells I lose from watching trash tv are replenished when I read books. Perfect balance for me lol. I am very sarcastic and if you are looking for perfect grammar this isn’t it lol. I’m a very laid-back person.

I created this club because I wanted a club that is very casual, welcoming and not intimidating. For Letters on Paper, I want members to feel as comfortable as possible. We literally just start talking about the book and then whatever else comes up in conversation.

We are so fortunate to have the ability to meet new people through this app!

So, if you have made it this far by reading this and haven’t run for the hills please come join us!
