This one was hard to get into but once I was about halfway through, I was invested. The ending was frustrating with the twist that I could not have predicted!

This book was…disappointing. I predicted the ending midway through the book and overall did not enjoy the writing style. There was such a big build up to the trial for it to only provide the opening statement and a flash forward scene to close out the book.
If you’re just starting to be in to suspense/who done it stories, you’ll enjoy this. For readers who want to thoroughly be surprised, I found this book predictable and not the best writing or story telling.

Jeneva definitely keeps you at the edge of your seat with detail and the plot twist in the end you do not see coming!

Ending was good and unexpected. Enticing read.
