It’s been over a decade since Sarah Morgan stepped out of the courtroom spotlight, building a new life, a new family, and leaving her past behind. But when her marriage begins to unravel, Sarah finds herself caught in a whirlwind of tension, betrayal, and renewed public scrutiny. As old cases resurface and new troubles emerge, Sarah is pulled into a high-stakes game where nothing is as it seems. Fast-paced and full of sharp twists, The Perfect Divorce is a gripping sequel that tests just how far someone will go to protect their future. Let me start off by saying, I would be terrified to be on Sarah’s bad side! She is fierce, calculated, and absolutely not someone you want to cross—especially when the stakes are high. This book was everything I expected it to be—twist after twist, dots being connected, and clever callbacks to The Perfect Marriage. I’m so glad I recently read the first book, because there’s no way I would’ve remembered all the subtle details and connections that ended up playing such a huge role here. The Perfect Divorce is a solid, fast-paced sequel that doesn't feel like a repeat—it builds on the original story while raising the tension and making you question every character’s motive. The drama, the personal unraveling, the secrets—it was all so well layered and completely binge-worthy. If you love domestic thrillers with sharp characters, legal drama, and the kind of tension that makes you want to scream at the pages, this one delivers. Jeneva Rose proves she knows how to write a sequel that not only lives up to the first—but might even outdo it.

I love this book and the second one. They are both a must read. Vengeful and absolutely amazing.

This sequel earns its place by raising the stakes without simply recycling what came before. Placing Sarah simultaneously in a corrosive divorce, a custody dispute over her daughter Summer, and the reopened shadow of her first husband Adam's execution creates overlapping pressure that feels genuinely suffocating in the best way. The new DNA evidence is a smart structural choice, forcing her to defend her past while fighting for her future at the same time. What elevates it above standard thriller territory is how moral ambiguity is spread across the whole cast rather than concentrated in one villain. Bob is culpable but pitiable, and Marcus Hudson's principled determination sharpens Sarah's edges nicely. The pacing strains a little under the weight of so many storylines, but for readers already invested in Sarah Morgan, this delivers enough complexity and betrayal to make it worthwhile.

After reading the first book, you can better predict how it’s going to end, but the journey getting there is crazy af. It’s giving FAFO
