i liked it more than perfect marriage, but i still feel like there was way too much happening at once. and i wish she would’ve focused more on sarah’s perspective instead of rushing it at the end.
“Two people can keep a secret as long as one of them is dead.” This was a perfect follow up book full of twists and turns. The obvious wasn’t as obvious as it seemed. Short and to the point, this book kept my interest and I didn’t want to put it down until it was finished.
The sequel did not disappoint! Read this in less than a week which is fast for me! Great twists that kept me intrigued until the end
I was so excited for Jeneva to drop the sequel to her first book in this series. I was captivated with A Perfect Marriage; everything from her writing style, the plot, the pace, the twists, the characters and how real they felt, made it a satisfying read that I couldn't stop thinking about for weeks. I was sorely disappointed when I read this book though. It felt rushed and didn't spend enough time developing the characters to invest in any outcome. There were too many new people and the story felt convoluted and dull at times.
4.5âï¸ rounded up since overall I liked this one more then TPM and I got to meet the author on her book tour.
Loved getting more of Sarah Morganâs story and her second marriage. It picks up years after the TPM but I was quickly thrust back into the twists and deceit of all the characters. I enjoyed the multiple POV style and thought it moved the story along. I have some theories on where it might go in the next bookâ¦
