Sarah is so annoying. Hated her throughout the whole book, and you can tell the author admires her so much and likely believes she's writing a "strong female figure". You can tell who did the crimes by chapter 10. I really hated the ending and skimmed through most of the last chapter.

Absolutely NO ❌ The best thing about this was the narration, but even Adam Lazarre-White couldn’t save this dumpster fire. This was a big book of nothingness. It was extremely boring and full of plot holes. And, it is pretty much the same plot of Perfect Marriage. Sarah “the husband killer” loved to call her soon to be ex-husband a narcissist and you’d think she’d recognize one when she was the biggest narc of all. Killing someone and pinning it on someone else to take the fall will NEVER be an enjoyable story story for me because it just hits too close to my Black roots. The fact that this book has an avg rating over 4 stars baffles me, but then I remind myself that everyone has different tastes. And that’s ok…but I know that Jeneva has a huge social following and that has to play apart in the appeal. Likability goes a long way! As for me, it was a complete waste of my time and of a FREE credit 😏
