The Perfect Divorce was definitely an awesome read! Honestly, Sarah seems like a total sociopath. She blurs that line between love and hate so well. And wow, she really kicks things up a notch when she meets Alejandroâtalk about finding her match! The book had so many twists and suspenseful parts; I couldnât believe it! Everything from the pig's blood to helping Carissa escape and pretending to be her in that creepy abandoned house was wild. Bob really thought he could outmaneuver a psycho!
I love love LOVE Mrs. Jeneva Rose! I sort of had it figured out who was behind it, but how they accomplished it was pretty spectacular! Highly recommend!
I love this book and the second one. They are both a must read. Vengeful and absolutely amazing.
âFact: you escaped from jail. Fact: you are on trial for murder. Fact: you went to the house of that reporter, who you donât even knowâŠA brutal murder has shaken the small town of Brentsville. Kelly Summers, a twenty-seven-year-old local woman, and wife to local Sheriffâs Deputy Scott Summers was found viciously murdered early yesterday morning by cleaning lady, Sonia Gutierrez. Reports say she was brutally stabbed to death. Police are not releasing the name of the primary suspect as the investigation is ongoing.â
âMost people donât like lawyers to begin with, but they especially donât like one thatâs married to the defendant whoâs on trial for the murder of his mistress and her unborn childâŠI know what youâre thinking. Did I do everything in my power to save Adam? To try and save the man who ruined our love and our marriage. I ask myself the same question sometimes. And the only answer I have ever come up with is that I did what I had to do. To survive.â
âThatâs the thing about relationships, you never really know whatâs going on in them, unless youâre a part of them. Just like no one will ever know what happened between Adam and me. We all have our own truth and everything outside that truth is just a story...Lots of people cheat on their spouse, wellâŠsome people cheat on their spouse. But I would imagine the more common end to those trysts is divorce, notâŠmurder.â
âForgiveness. Vows. Broken. Cheating. Kelly. Fact. Kill. Sheriff Stevens. Jenna. Bob. Anne. Lake house. Jesse. Rebecca. DNA. End it. Matthew. Hudson. Scott. Sarah. Sarah. Sarah. All of these words race through my head. I had hoped my last thoughts would be of the life I lived or the people I lovedâŠThe only thoughts swirling inside my brain are of my own demise. Something doesnât feel right. Something isnât right.â Jeneva Roseâs The Perfect Marriage is perfectly spinechilling.
Just as good as the first book, with twists and turns each way and it was great
