What did you think of the final twist, revealing the killer’s identity and motive? Were you surprised or had you already guessed it?  If you were surprised, who did you think the killer was going to be?  What clues or foreshadowing led you to believe this?

Did the book’s ending satisfy you or did you still have questions and loose ends you wanted wrapped up?

Why do you think Adam trusted Sarah to be his attorney after he had betrayed her by cheating? If you were in his shoes, would you have had her take the case?

From the start of the novel, which opens with Adam cheating on Sarah with Kelly, it’s clear that Adam and Sarah’s marriage is far from perfect.  Why do you think Rose chose The Perfect Marriage as the title of her book?

Sarah is the breadwinner and more successful spouse.  How did this impact her marriage with Adam?  Do you think Adam was justified in feeling abandoned and neglected by her?

Part of the reason the end is so shocking is that Sarah has been one of the narrators all along.  How do you feel about books with unreliable narrators?  Did having an unreliable narrator work in this book?

Discuss the character of Kelly / Jenna.  What did you think of her relationship with Adam and her role in the story?

Revenge plays a large role in The Perfect Marriage.  Do you think people are ever justified in taking revenge, as Sarah and Bob do?

Arguably, none of the characters in the book are particularly sympathetic.  Were there any characters you liked?  Do you like having a character to root for in a book, or do you not find that necessary?

This book was full of twists and turns! Which was your favorite reveal?
