This series made me fall in love with reading all over again. Rebecca Yarros has created a world that is so immersive and keeps the reader on their toes! Battles, Dragons, Love, Spice, World building. This whole series will have you CRAVING more from start to finish... And we've barely scratched the surface; I'm in for the long haul!
The Empyrean series has that addictive reading energy where you promise “one more chapter” and suddenly it is way too late. I love fantasy books that mix danger, romance, friendship, and a world with rules you actually want to understand. Fourth Wing and Iron Flame both feel like stories made for book club reactions, because everyone ends up having a favorite character, theory, or emotional scene. A good series reminds you why readers love disappearing into another world for a while.

I loved this series from the fantasy to the romance. The bonds between the dragons and their riders is my favourite aspect of this series. I am eagerly waiting for the third book "Onyx Storm" to release in January 2025.
