3.5 stars rounded up. I've been wanting to read this series for years, saving it for summer every year but never getting to it. It finally happened this summer! I adored To All the Boys but I knew this one has more mixed reviews and I went into it with lower expectations. It's a sweet book but definitely has more teen drama and a more melancholy tone. The writing improved with each page and by the end I was hooked, picking up the second book right away. Thankfully I didn't have strong inclinations toward either brother so I wasn't too emotionally invested in the outcome--or whether it was resolved or not. It's a quick read, perfect for by the pool, on the beach, or on vacation!

The novel was a very cute story about belly, a girl who goes to cousins ( a town i think i wasn’t really sure about it but i know it’s a beach area) , she goes every summer as a tradition because of her mothers best friend , and her two sons. The love triangle is insane throughout the novel and i can’t wait to read the second book:)
