Part of Your World

A refreshingly modern fairy tale and instant New York Times bestseller that Love Hypothesis author Ali Hazelwood hails as "an uplifting, feel-good, romantic read."

After a wild bet, gourmet grilled-cheese sandwich, and cuddle with a baby goat, Alexis Montgomery has had her world turned upside down. The cause: Daniel Grant, a ridiculously hot carpenter who's ten years younger than her and as casual as they come--the complete opposite of sophisticated city-girl Alexis. And yet their chemistry is undeniable.

While her ultra-wealthy parents want her to carry on the family legacy of world-renowned surgeons, Alexis doesn't need glory or fame. She's fine with being a "mere" ER doctor. And every minute she spends with Daniel and the tight-knit town where he lives, she's discovering just what's really important. Yet letting their relationship become anything more than a short-term fling would mean turning her back on her family and giving up the opportunity to help thousands of people.

Bringing Daniel into her world is impossible, and yet she can't just give up the joy she's found with him either. With so many differences between them, how can Alexis possibly choose between her world and his?

"Abby Jimenez's words are like fairy dust... they sprinkled humor and warmth all over my life. Pick up Part of Your World if you're looking for an uplifting, feel-good, romantic read--and for a beautiful reminder that we should always try to live the life that makes us the happiest." --Ali Hazelwood, New York Times bestselling author of The Love Hypothesis

cute, easy to read, funny romance. I liked the older fmc and younger mmc. also really enjoyed that he was such a manly man that did a lot of things with his hands, but knew how to treat a woman. I got a kick out of the dick Pic part. but my favorite part was when she finally stands up to her parents and does what she wants. and it was the best solution so they could be together.

OMG—I’m in love! What a fantastic read by Abby Jimenez. I don’t mind reading cute love stories, I often use them as “palate cleansers” between heavier reads—but Part of your World blew me away. I was hooked from the start. It’s a budding romance with just the right amount of external drama to make the story feel grounded and believable. The main character’s dilemma felt real and complex, not forced. I absolutely loved the characters, especially the supporting cast, who were written so well. And what a clever way to draw us into Bri’s world and falling in love with her just enough to be genuinely excited for her story in the next book. Daniel and Alexis were such a solid, drama-free couple (while in Wakan), which I really appreciated. The story didn’t waste time dragging out the romance unnecessarily, and the external conflict was introduced at just the right pace and intensity. The underlying themes around abuse and difficult life choices gave the book more depth than I expected. It wasn’t just a feel-good romance. It was a genuinely thoughtful read that left me thinking. Definitely one of my favorite reads ever!

I LOVED the story! Abby Jiminez never disappoints! The love story was super cute and refreshing. What really hit home for me was the emotional abuse references. As someone who experienced it, this was the first book I've read that validated that emotional abuse IS abuse and how it affects the victim. I was falling in love with Alexis and Daniel and their love story, and then I fell in love with Abby Jiminez when she wrote about something that really hit home.
