The third book in one of the great Romantasy, adventures, follows the Dragons and there riders fighting to find there way and save their world. With love of friends and mystery of what’s next this book takes you on a roller coaster, to an ending leaving you wondering what’s next…..awaiting 2027

📖I dragged this book out as long as I could, and even at 97%, with them still fighting, I wasn’t ready for it to end. The hangover is real. Onyx Storm is by far my favorite in the series followed by Fourth Wing, then Iron Flame. Now, before I say this next part, you need to understand: I’m not a sappy romantic. I’m often described as cold, distant, private, always in control, and definitely not someone who wears their heart on their sleeve. I have walls for days. I identify with Xaden completely. As much as I call him “Xaddy” and try to convince myself he’s my top book boyfriend, let’s be real, we’d actually be bros. But this whole book? It felt like a love story written for me. It was truly romantic in a way that hit deeper than just words on a page. Why? Because the raw emotion and love shared throughout felt real. Xaden worshipped Violet like she was religion and politics combined. Watching his love for her grow, while also growing emotionally as a person, was powerful. Because let’s be honest, someone who has experienced loss and heartache the way he has usually never learns to love without fear, without walls. I also listened to the playlist Rebecca Yarros shared before, during, and after reading the book, each phase hit differently, adding another layer to the experience. I’m already looking forward to rereading this with the audiobook, and I cannot wait for the graphic audio in April/May. I’m curious to know how long it will take me to pick up a new book after this. Off I go to dive deeper into podcast about this series. 😁

IN THE CLURB, we all wanna know WHAT HAPPENED IN THOSE 12 HOURS!!!! To Ta fa This book had me in a chokehold from start to finish, but the mystery of those missing hours is driving me INSANE. Like, I need a detailed breakdown, timestamps, security footage - SOMETHING. Aside from that, the tension, the drama, the absolute chaos of it all?? Perfection. I was stressed, obsessed, and emotionally wrecked the entire time. I need ANSWERS, and I need the next book immediately.
