I enjoyed this “book” (it’s more like a novella). I wasn’t totally engrossed in the story like most people seem to be... but I’m definitely curious. I didn’t find the ending to be enough to make me pick up part two right away, like most people encourage. I’m sure I will read it very soon, but it didn’t have me on the edge of my seat.
I enjoyed the New Orleans setting and I liked how at times the story had an unsettling voodoo vibe.
Also, I noticed their relationship is very Romeo and Juliet-esque, hopefully it doesn’t end like the tragedy.

So far I’m enjoying this series while I’m reading it, but then by the end I feel like not much has really happened.
I kept feeling anxious during the majority of this book, but not because it was thrilling. I was anxious because Silas needed to get his ass to football practice.
This ending made me a little more interested than part one’s ending. Cutting it off mid sentence, now that’s just cruel. Lol

In this 3 part series, follow Charlie and Silas through their romantic journey of trying to remember who they are. At fourteen they fell in love. Now, they're too strangers. The two teenagers in high school find themselves unable to remember a single detail after a textbook falls from a table and slams to the ground. As soon as the sound is made, their memories are wiped. They have no recollection of their memories except for the ones they learned on their own. Silas is able to remember how to use his camera but has no idea how to play football. The two have no idea that they are a couple until their "friends" point out to them that they are "always acting weird and should just break up." With their past a mystery, the two aim to work together to solve the mystery: what happened to us?

When Charlie arrives home she finds that she not only has a sister but that her mother has become addicted to alcohol after her father was imprisoned. The three live in a tiny rundown house.

When Silas arrives home, he finds his house is much larger than Charlie's. Inside he finds that he has an unimpressed father, a housekeeper, a mother who doesn't seem to be around a lot, and his brother all of whom live under the same roof.

What was Charlie's dad imprisoned for? And do Charlie and Silas ever get their memory back? Better read the three-books to find out...
