I enjoyed this “book” (it’s more like a novella). I wasn’t totally engrossed in the story like most people seem to be... but I’m definitely curious. I didn’t find the ending to be enough to make me pick up part two right away, like most people encourage. I’m sure I will read it very soon, but it didn’t have me on the edge of my seat.
I enjoyed the New Orleans setting and I liked how at times the story had an unsettling voodoo vibe.
Also, I noticed their relationship is very Romeo and Juliet-esque, hopefully it doesn’t end like the tragedy.

So far I’m enjoying this series while I’m reading it, but then by the end I feel like not much has really happened.
I kept feeling anxious during the majority of this book, but not because it was thrilling. I was anxious because Silas needed to get his ass to football practice.
This ending made me a little more interested than part one’s ending. Cutting it off mid sentence, now that’s just cruel. Lol

Very good if you believe in true love and fate
Loved this book. Twists and turns and right up my street……
The mystery was a flop but the romance yum yum ate that up!!
