Easy read but a little slow. Absolutely loved the idea of the confessions and the paintings.

We hated the mother in law- hated Trey- hated lack of relationship with her own family. She seemed so young and would succumb to whatever she was told. The coincidence was odd with the Owen and Auburn connection. We enjoyed the twists with Owen’s dad and him covering for him led to bonus points for us!!! To say I was hesitant at first to reading this would be an understatement. I went into it blind, but honestly I’m so happy I did. The beginning was a bit hard for me to get through just because the relationship didn’t have a background or anything.. I felt like they progressed so fast, and it was easy for me to remember I was reading a romance book instead of real life.
