Anything Patricia briggs writes I am reading. I love Mercy Thompson and the alpha and omega series so this was a nice treat. It features 5 short stories, or 5 blind dates, that make up the overall story. I finished this book in 2 days. Its a quick and entertaining read and while the characters are part of the other 2 series, I dont think you necessarily need to have read the other series to enjoy it. It had me smiling and I honestly dont remember Asil being like this in the series. However, if you go in knowing Asil is very old, very scary, and not all stable its a good starting point to enjoy the story.
