Thoughtties

This is a group of people in their 20s looking to build a community in Chicago and in an online space. We are open to any genre, but there will be a focus on topics such as classics, memoirs, non-fiction, poetry, literary fiction, speculative fiction and more. For a five month period, we will vote on a topic we would like to explore and read five books over the course of those months related to that topic while varying in genre. These themes could be anything related to social and political issues, psychology, history, religion, and more.

We will meet in person once a month and provide an online space for people to converse regardless of location. We will try to have meetings outside of our designated time for book discussion about once per month so we are able to socialize, get to know each other, and explore different places in the city! I would love to have more people to share this journey with :)
