Sundry Book Club

Meeting Frequency: Second to last Sunday each month, on Zoom, starting at 8pm Eastern and lasting 75-90 minutes. If major holidays fall on those days we adjust meeting times accordingly.

Types of Books We Read: A mix of fiction and nonfiction with an emphasis of highlighting  underrepresented groups in publishing (BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, people living with a disability, and more).

Genres previously read include: literary fiction, thrillers, dystopian fiction, science fiction, fantasy, crime fiction, global fiction, historical fiction, memoirs, science nonfiction, and historical nonfiction.

Meeting Participation Guidelines:

1. Be respectful towards each other. This means not talking over each other, no name calling or insult hurling. We work hard to make this a safe, friendly space! That said, disliking the book is completely ok, we don’t insist on group think.
2. At each meeting we vote on future reads so attending regularly ensures you have a voice on what is picked.
3. Make best efforts to read the whole book if attending a meeting.
