About Sistahs on the Same Page
Sistahs on the Same Page was founded on February 15, 2024, as a literary sanctuary for Black women seeking meaningful connection through books, storytelling, and sisterhood.
What started as a virtual book club quickly blossomed into a growing community rooted in womanhood, reflection, and cultural relevance. We meet monthly to explore books by Black authors that speak to our lived experiences from healing to joy, legacy to love.
We are a living, breathing community. To keep our space sacred and engaged, we ask all members to stay active by:
• Attending at least one meeting each quarter (virtual or in person)
• Joining in on a discussion thread, poll, and prompt once a month on Bookclubs
• Supporting at least one event each semester when possible
Girl, we get it... life happens! But when we all show up, even in small ways, we create the magic together. Members who aren’t engaging may be rotated out to keep our community thriving.
Come as you are. Leave feeling seen.
