About Seattle Psychology & Science Book Club
We're a Seattle-based book club that gathers monthly to explore the fascinating world of science as it relates to the human mind and body. Our reading list spans psychology, neuroscience, health, and general science. From accessible bestsellers to thought-provoking deep dives, we choose books that spark curiosity, challenge assumptions, and leave us seeing everyday life a little differently.
What We Read
We gravitate toward books that help us better understand ourselves and the world around us. Topics include behavioral psychology, brain science, social science, wellness, and modern research discoveries shaping the current scientific landscape.
How We Meet
We meet once a month in Seattle's South Lake Union neighborhood to discuss our current read, share perspectives, and enjoy great conversation. Meetings are a relaxed space to think out loud, ask questions, and hear what others took away from the book.
Participation Guidelines
Come as you are able — life happens, and we get it. There's no pressure to attend every meeting or finish every book. Whether you read the whole thing, half of it, or just the back cover, you're welcome at the table. All we ask is an open mind and a curiosity to learn.
Who Should Join
Anyone with an interest in science, health, human behavior, or simply a love of reading and good discussion. No background in science required, just a desire to explore big ideas together.
