The Open Book Society

Our book club reads a wide variety of genres and titles, which keeps our discussions fresh and engaging. We vote on upcoming selections a few months in advance so everyone has plenty of time to find the book in the format that works best for them—whether that’s print, e-book, or audiobook. When selecting books for the ballot, we also try to ensure there are titles by BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and other underrepresented authors included so our reading list reflects a range of voices and perspectives. We meet in person at a local restaurant in town, which makes for a relaxed atmosphere where we can enjoy good food, great conversation, and thoughtful discussion about the book.
