• 🦇 Once upon a midnight dreary, while we pondered, weak and weary… someone suggested starting a book club. And thus began a beautifully unhinged institution of questionable literary judgment, wildly unnecessary character investigations, suspiciously passionate debates, and women discovering that sometimes the best chapters of life aren't found between the covers of a book. They're found around a table.
• 📚 Welcome to Read Between the Wines: Unhinged Book Club, a literary sisterhood with a particular affection for psychological thrillers, murder mysteries, horror, unreliable narrators, morally bankrupt fictional men, and endings that make us question whether the author needs therapy or we do. But our bookshelves know no boundaries. From romance and historical fiction to memoirs and literary masterpieces, if a story makes us think, feel, laugh, cry, or question our existence, it belongs here.
• 🔪 We read between the lines, drink between the wines, and occasionally lose our minds somewhere between Chapters 12 and 13. Our discussions range from insightful literary analysis to full-blown psychological autopsies of fictional people who never consented to being diagnosed by women armed with wine, intuition, and an alarming amount of Enneagram knowledge. We have theories, receipts, opinions nobody asked for, and Blooket… because apparently reading a book isn't enough unless we turn it into a competitive blood sport.

🕯️ ONE MORE CHAPTER FOR DANA

• ❤️ Our story began in 2022 with love, loss, and the desire to keep the memory of Dana Garcia alive. What began as a way to honor someone deeply missed became something extraordinary: a gathering of women choosing to make time for one another while they still can.
• 🦋 Dana's memory is woven into the heart of this club, not because we wish to remain in the sadness of losing her, but because we believe love deserves to keep moving. Through every shared story, every ridiculous laugh, every new friendship, and every Tuesday we choose connection over another excuse to stay home, we carry a little of that love forward.
• 🏮 We cannot write another chapter of Dana's life, but we can allow her memory to inspire countless chapters in ours. That is the spirit behind One More Chapter for Dana. Her name is part of our foundation, and her memory reminds us why showing up for the people we love matters so much.

🖤 THE PEOPLE ARE THE STORY

• 🍂 We understand that life moves in seasons. Some women find us for a chapter, others stay for entire volumes, and some step away, return, or discover their story is leading them elsewhere. And that is okay. We do not measure someone's worth by how long they remain in our pages. Every woman who has shared our table, offered her perspective, or brought her laughter has contributed something meaningful to our story.
• 🤝 There is no permanent cast list, no hierarchy of belonging, and no requirement to remain the same person you were when you arrived. We are not here to possess one another's time. We are here to honor the moments we choose to share. People may come and go, but our purpose remains: cultivating genuine connections and remembering that no amount of time together should ever be taken for granted.

🕯️ TUESDAYS ARE SACRED

• ⏳ Adulthood has a cruel talent for turning friendship into something we promise to get around to after the laundry, the children, the deadlines, and the exhaustion. Except life rarely slows down, so we made room for one another anyway. Some Tuesdays we dissect literature like deranged scholars conducting unauthorized criminal investigations. Other Tuesdays we play games, swap books, explore bookstores, laugh until our faces hurt, or simply enjoy being women outside the responsibilities that define so much of our lives.
• 🥂 Sometimes we arrive thriving. Sometimes we're overstimulated, emotionally compromised, and one minor inconvenience away from becoming the villain in our next psychological thriller. Both versions are welcome. You don't need to finish every chapter, have the cleverest theory, or maintain perfect attendance to deserve a seat. Just know that assigned-reading spoilers are legal, and failure to RSVP may result in an affectionate but deeply unnecessary public investigation.

🍷 UNHINGED, BUT INTENTIONAL

• 🎭 We believe in showing up without showing off, laughing without restraint, disagreeing without disrespect, and making room for every personality at the table. We are the overthinkers, the skeptics, the feelers, the loud ones, the quiet ones, and the women who correctly predicted the murderer on page seven and will never let anyone forget it.
• 💀 We believe literature should expand our minds, not inflate our egos. That friendship requires intention, not perfection. That accountability and compassion can coexist. And that women can be gloriously inappropriate, intellectually curious, emotionally profound, and fiercely kind without turning every gathering into a damn committee meeting. We are soft with people and absolutely savage with plot holes.

📖 THE CHAPTERS KEEP TURNING

• ✨ There will be new books, new faces, new traditions, and inside jokes that require twelve minutes of explanation and still aren't funny to anyone outside the club. There will be beginnings, endings, plot twists, and chapters we never saw coming. Through it all, we hope to remain a place where women can be fully themselves without performing, competing, or apologizing for being human.
• 🫶 Because this was never about assembling the perfect group of women. It was about creating a place where imperfect women could experience something extraordinary together. A little literature, a little lunacy, a great deal of laughter, and the kind of connection that reminds us that even in our darkest chapters, we were never meant to read our stories alone.

🕊️ Dana's story reminds us that life is precious, time is fleeting, and love is not diminished when the people we cherish are no longer physically beside us. We honor her not only by remembering her, but by continuing to create the kind of memories worth holding onto.
