About Pages & Processing
A book and socialization club centered around stories that explore heavy, complicated, and sometimes uncomfortable subjects. Through shared stories written truths, we will discuss all of the messy parts of being human.
We don’t just read a story, we unpack our own experiences and feelings that may relate to the pages we read. Each meeting is a chance to share perspectives, connect our own experiences, and have the kinds of honest conversations that don’t always have a place in everyday life.
We will explore fictional stories as well as personal accounts and memoirs from real people who have undergone the woes of life.
Subject matters may include:
Depression/Anxiety/Mental illness
Grief
Feeling uncertain about yourself or your future
Trauma & PTSD
Heartbreak
Sexual assault or grooming
Difficult relationships or friendships
Misogyny
Self help and rebuilding confidence
