NYC-NJ Girls Fantasy Book Circle

Hello! Created in the spring of 2026, this book group is for the NYC-NJ area, and focuses on fantasy books and series of all kinds.

Take a look at our "Books We Want to Read" if you want a better idea of the type of books we'll be reading. We're open to recommendations and will be voting on a book each month to read! Here's the format:

• Recommend books whenever you like!
• First week of the month: Vote between 5-6 book options
• Second week of the month: Vote on a time to meet in-person
• Last Week: Meeting time! (we meet in-person)

A little bit more about me: My name's Rachel and in summer 2024 I started the Boston area's first Fantasy Book Group! The club grew to over 200+ members, so now that I'm relocating I'm hoping to replicate the success and take everything I learned from running my previous group. I'm excited to meet people and make new friends through this book club!
