For the Plot is a brand-new book & social club for people who love a good story and NEED somebody to get into it with. The characters, the drama, the relationships, the chemistry, the plot twists, the decisions that had NO business being made. 😭 We’re talking about ALL of it!

Whether you’re here for the romance, the mess, the suspense, or just a book that keeps you turning pages, there’s room for you here.

We’re just getting started, so if you’re joining us now, you’re getting in from the beginning! And if this sounds like your kind of crowd, GET IN HERE! 😂❤️

📍 NJ BASED, BUT EVERYBODY’S WELCOME!

We’re based in New Jersey, but you don’t have to live here to join! Anybody can read along, join the conversations, and participate in our virtual Plot Talks. And if you can make it to an in-person meetup, even better!

📖 HOW WE READ

We all read the same book, with enough time to finish depending on its length. We’re not racing through books, but everybody is expected to finish before Plot Talk.

Read however you like — physical book, Kindle, audiobook, library copy, whatever works!

🎲 EVERYBODY GETS A TURN

Everybody gets a chance to pick what we read! When it’s your turn, you choose the book and kick off its Plot Talk.

After each discussion, we’ll randomly draw the next person’s name. You’ll have 2–3 days to choose, and nobody picks twice until everybody’s had a turn.

🥂 ZOOM, ZOOM, THEN WE’RE OUTSIDE!

Our regular rotation is two Zoom Plot Talks, then every third one in person! Think brunch, dinner, cafés, lounges — whatever fits the vibe.

When your book falls on an in-person meetup, you get to choose the spot, keeping everybody’s budget in mind.

Our very first Plot Talk is the exception! We’re kicking things off with an in-person meetup to celebrate the start of the club. ❤️

🤫 NO SPOILERS!

React, vent, ask questions, and scream about a chapter all you want, but don’t spoil the story for anybody else!

Once Plot Talk comes around? EVERYTHING is up for discussion. 😂
