I’m Desirée, the founder of Apartment 128, a lifestyle stationery brand focused on creativity, self-expression, and everyday charm. I established this book club as a natural extension of the brand because I was seeking deeper connections, meaningful conversations, and beautifully written stories shared in real life.

We meet monthly in Columbus, Ohio, to read books by BIPOC and women authors—voices that inspire us, challenge our perspectives, and resonate long after we turn the final page. Each title is selected with care, and every gathering is designed to encourage inspiration, reflection, and a sense of community.
