Wild Side (Deluxe Edition) (Rose Hill, 3)

*This deluxe edition comes with a mountain spine design that lines up with the rest of the series*

She's always dreamed of her wedding day. And those dreams never included saying "I do" to a man she hates.

But when Tabitha's nephew's guardianship is contested, she decides she'll do whatever it takes to keep him in Rose Hill. Even if it means marrying the enemy.

Rhys Dupris.

A man who is secretive, broody, and completely infuriating. A man whose work takes him away for weeks on end and brings him back covered in mysterious bruises--ones he won't talk about. In fact, Tabitha and Rhys barely talk at all.

Which would be fine, except when he's not talking, he's staring. And the way he looks at her is borderline indecent.

The tension between them has always been palpable. But living under the same roof is a dangerous temptation.

Tabitha swore she would never forgive him. But that was before she knew the man behind the mask. The one who's fierce and protective. The one who's gentle and patient. The one who shows up for her and her nephew when they need him most.

He's not at all who she thought he was.

And that makes hating her husband so much harder...and loving him just a little too easy.

The themes throughout this one are heavier than the last two books and it works well for the character development and overarching plot but some of it got a little repetitive. We jumped time a lot throughout Tabitha & Rhys’ story but I’m glad it started from the beginning. We had gotten little glimpses of a storyline between them during Wild Eyes and I had a lot of questions so I’m happy it didn’t pick up during the timing at the end of that story. I ultimately loved the relationship the two of them form but what drove me nuts what the complete and utter lack of communication! It had been obvious to me what Erica had did and the fact that neither Rhys nor Tabitha could actually communicate their experiences lead to the slowest of slow burns. I know that can be such a realistic thing but it was frustrating to read.

Amazing book. Love the story behind it. Love the writing so descriptive I was able to visualize the entire book! Can’t wait for the 4th book to come out

THIS. WAS. INCREDIBLE.

FOAMING AT THE MOUTH. Absolutely went FERAL for this.

Tabby and Rhys are just WOW. The story, the banter, the tension, the love, the family and found family, everything about this story was TOP TIER! Elsie, you got me with this one! My least favorite trope is single dads but Elsie girl, YOU DID THE DAMN THING! OMG!

Add this to your TBR and read it, memorize it, live it, devour it, let it consume you because it's PERFECT. Absolute perfection. If I could rate this 100 stars I would.

Oh my heart with this one! I swear I’m in such awe with how Elsie Silver writes so beautifully and the heartbreaking emotions in this book had my heart in a clutch! Again the narrators on the audiobook are fantastic at bringing her characters to life and match so true to their personalities. All I can say is it’s been awhile since I binged a series back to back like this!! Well done! 🫶🏽👏🏽🥰

Enjoyed Rhys and Tabitha’s story. Both likeable characters and lovely to see them heal and grow together.
