7.5⭐️ - rounded down for Bookclubs I’m honestly shocked to say I haven’t really read any cowboy romances, but this might be the year of them. I loved the vibe Rhett gives off and liked him pretty instantly. I wasn’t completely obsessed with him or Summer, and I can’t really put my finger on why, I just knew they weren’t my favorite. I actually think part of my deterrence was the audio narration- they both felt a little dry which could’ve led a bit to my unattachment. It’s a predictable plot but I enjoyed it and I did have a lot of ‘aww’ moments on top of the ‘hot damn’ ones. This was my first Elsie Silver and it won’t be my last, especially because this is a highly talked about series on IG/TT so I’ll absolutely be continuing it!

A slower burn, but I loved every single minute of it and Rhett Eaton will forever be my favorite book boyfriend. 🚨 Trope Alert: small town, forced proximity, only one bed, slow burn, grumpy/sunshine, cowboy 🥵 MMC Rating: would renew my vows each year to this man 🔥 Spice Chapters: 21, 22, 24, 26, Epilogue
