Whispers of Deception: Marriage of Convenience Dark Romance (Whispers of Cedarbrook)

So in the beginning I was a little confused, but that was totally my fault. I didn't realize when I signed up for the ARC read that it was the third book in the series. 😅🤣💀 so once I got past my initial confusion I absolutely fell toxicly in love with Lila and Ethan's relationship. Ethan starts off as Lila's Bodyguard, but once she turns 18 they take a swing at a relationship. Then a major turn of events happen because of a misunderstanding and they are estranged for a little over a year. But the whole time Ethan knows where Lila is and basically stalks her in his own caring/hunting way. They end up reuniting and then it is on from there with the drama and action. I definitely cannot wait to read more about these characters. This trilogy may be complete, but these character's stories are hopefully far from over!
