Bound By Shadows: Delta Sigma Nu Book One (Ashen Grove University)

I wanted to like this book so bad but it just had no plot or character development. I didn’t even know who Sable WAS or get reminded why I liked her. Why and what did the boys like her exactly? She stood for basically nothing…. Just lots of hot sex with mysterious deaths being planted in. No reason or rhyme for half the decisions these characters make.

I don't even know where to start. I guess at the beginning would be a good place. Sable tries to get far away from her legacy by attending Lakeview University, but after 2 years, she flunks out. Her mother takes this opportunity to ship her to Ashen Grove University, where she can finish out college where she belongs, next to Silas Morgan. Who is Silas Morgan? He is none other than Sable's lifelong rival, or if we blur the lines a bit, her enemy turned lover. But like all good sales, Silas is a buy one get 4 kind of deal. The four horsemen that is. I don't know about you, but I love a good deal, and 4 is definitely better than one. Dayton, Kai, and Levi enter the chat. Not long after Sable arrives at Ashen Grove, she attends her first party, which is also where the first unaliving takes place. As the story goes on, more unaliving happens. *cue the bodies hit the floor* Sable is wracking her brain, trying to solve these mysterious unalivings that are becoming more sloppy and brutal. Is Sable responsible? Could it be one of her four horsemen? Silas, Dayton, Kai, and Levi are obsessed with Sable, but would they take things that far? Only time will tell, and the duet to this masterpiece. I'm getting real "Pretty Little Liar" flashbacks trying to figure out the culprit. Definitely recommend reading to get all the juicy details because things definitely get juicy between Sable and her 4 horsemen.
