This book was okay.
However, one mistake was reading reviews of it halfway through the book. Bad idea.
I also learned that Iâm not super compatible with the way this book was written and had to pick it up and put it down a lot because each chapter was like a pinball machine and you never knew where you would land next.
I did enjoy the moments where she wrote about anxiety and how sheâs had to constantly work on it and constantly remind herself that she was having anxiety âseasons.â
I also enjoyed when she would talk about her kids and tell stories about them. My favorite segment is how her daughter got her nickname in soccer, Elmerâs. I like that she also shows how Abby helps round her (Glennon) out, and think thatâs something we all wish for in a partner.

I did not finish this book. I was pushing myself to read more but honestly, I just kept getting bored. Listen, I’m all for people finding their path and finding yourself, great for Glennon, but the book didn’t capture my interest.
First book I felt an immediate connection with the author, hearing a raw beautiful account of her journey! Her humor and sarcasm seeps through in each chapter, even when speaking of vulnerability. Thank you for sharing Glennon
