Twisted Hate (Twisted, 3)

A diverse steamy enemies-to-lovers romance from New York Times bestselling author and BookTok sensation Ana Huang.

Gorgeous, cocky, and fast on his way to becoming a hotshot doctor, Josh Chen has never met a woman he couldn't charm--except for Jules Ambrose.

The beautiful redhead has been a thorn in his side since they met, but she also consumes his thoughts in a way no woman ever has.

When their animosity explodes into one unforgettable night, he proposes a solution that'll get her out of his system once and for all: an enemies with benefits arrangement with simple rules.

No jealousy.

No strings attached.

And absolutely no falling in love.

***

Outgoing and ambitious, Jules Ambrose is a former party girl who's focused on one thing: passing the attorney's bar exam.

The last thing she needs is to get involved with a doctor who puts the SUFFER in insufferable...no matter how good-looking he is.

But the more she gets to know him, the more she realizes there's more than meets the eye to the man she's hated for so long.

Her best friend's brother.

Her nemesis.

And her only salvation.

Theirs is a match made in hell, and when the demons from their past catch up with them, they're faced with truths that could either save them ...or destroy everything they've worked for.

The story of Josh and Jules in "Twisted Hate" unfolds beautifully, showcasing an engaging narrative filled with well-crafted details. The characters' connection is charming and intense, particularly through Josh, a successful doctor who initially comes off as a judgmental playboy toward Jules. Their relationship begins on rocky ground due to misunderstandings and past grievances, leading to a delightful blend of teasing and witty dialogue that brings laughter to readers. As their animosity evolves into passion, they opt for an "EWB" arrangement, revealing a fiery chemistry that transforms their initial dislike into a profound bond. Despite their differences, they support each other through personal struggles. Josh emerges as genuinely sweet and caring, while Jules embodies ambition and resilience, standing firm and determined. Ana skillfully introduces new characters and subplots, hinting at future developments while revisiting beloved secondary characters. This creates a warm sense of familiarity. Ultimately, "Twisted Hate" is a journey of love and personal growth, ensuring that Josh and Jules will remain memorable figures in readers' hearts.

I didn’t dislike this one but it wasn’t my favorite. I was excited to get a little enemies to lovers vibe with Josh & Jules and it kind of fell flat for me I think the thing with this one is that the spice overpowers the plot. Sometimes that’s okay but I actually love this series because it gives a little of both and I was hoping to feel a bit more attached to the romance than I did. Both Jules and Josh were not as captivating to me and I was a bit annoyed by both of them sometimes. There’s also one part that just goes a bit overboard on the hate love and it deterred me from becoming fully invested in their happy ending. Like I said, it’s good but I think what I enjoyed most is that you get a sprinkle of the characters from books one and two. I was more intrigued when others were involved in the plot than I was with the love story at hand half the time. I’m intrigued to get into Twisted Lies next since I feel like we know so little about Stella. So far, twisted games is still my favorite.

A little cheesy but good read. Somewhat predictable but I ate it up.

Definitely my favorite of the whole series, I couldn’t believe the chemistry between them even though I knew going into it that it was enemies to lovers trope (which is my favorite)🫶🏻 if I could give this 1 million stars I would, my heart goes out to you Ana Huang for creating Jules and Josh

Liked the first and second book more. This book felt like a stretch. Not as unique as the first two. Found it hard to finish, and I was listening to the audiobook. Definitely not my favorite..
