Twisted Hate

A diverse steamy enemies-to-lovers romance from New York Times bestselling author and BookTok sensation Ana Huang.

Gorgeous, cocky, and fast on his way to becoming a hotshot doctor, Josh Chen has never met a woman he couldn't charm--except for Jules Ambrose.

The beautiful redhead has been a thorn in his side since they met, but she also consumes his thoughts in a way no woman ever has.

When their animosity explodes into one unforgettable night, he proposes a solution that'll get her out of his system once and for all: an enemies with benefits arrangement with simple rules.

No jealousy.

No strings attached.

And absolutely no falling in love.

***

Outgoing and ambitious, Jules Ambrose is a former party girl who's focused on one thing: passing the attorney's bar exam.

The last thing she needs is to get involved with a doctor who puts the SUFFER in insufferable...no matter how good-looking he is.

But the more she gets to know him, the more she realizes there's more than meets the eye to the man she's hated for so long.

Her best friend's brother.

Her nemesis.

And her only salvation.

Theirs is a match made in hell, and when the demons from their past catch up with them, they're faced with truths that could either save them ...or destroy everything they've worked for.

I didn’t dislike this one but it wasn’t my favorite. I was excited to get a little enemies to lovers vibe with Josh & Jules and it kind of fell flat for me I think the thing with this one is that the spice overpowers the plot. Sometimes that’s okay but I actually love this series because it gives a little of both and I was hoping to feel a bit more attached to the romance than I did. Both Jules and Josh were not as captivating to me and I was a bit annoyed by both of them sometimes. There’s also one part that just goes a bit overboard on the hate love and it deterred me from becoming fully invested in their happy ending. Like I said, it’s good but I think what I enjoyed most is that you get a sprinkle of the characters from books one and two. I was more intrigued when others were involved in the plot than I was with the love story at hand half the time. I’m intrigued to get into Twisted Lies next since I feel like we know so little about Stella. So far, twisted games is still my favorite.

*Twisted Hate* by Ana Huang is a contemporary romance that delivers a high-intensity enemies-to-lovers story marked by sharp dialogue, emotional tension, and strong chemistry between its leads. the novel explores themes of resentment, vulnerability, and personal growth while maintaining a fast-paced, emotionally charged narrative. Huang’s writing is polished and engaging, particularly in its character interactions, which are driven by conflict and gradual emotional development. While the novel is widely praised for its passion and banter, its darker tone and intense relationship dynamics may not appeal to all readers. Overall, *Twisted Hate* stands out as a bold and compelling entry in the Twisted series, best suited for mature audiences who enjoy dramatic, high-stakes romance.
