King of Wrath: from the bestselling author of the Twisted series (Kings of Sin, 1)

By Ana Huang

*A NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER*

An arranged marriage billionaire romance standalone from New York Times bestselling author and BookTok sensation Ana Huang.

She was my North Star, the brightest jewel in my sky.

Ruthless. Meticulous. Arrogant.

Billionaire CEO Dante Russo thrives on control, both personally and professionally.

He never planned to marry...until the threat of blackmail forces him into an engagement with a woman he barely knows.

Vivian Lau, jewelry heiress and daughter of his newest enemy. The wife he never wanted, and the weakness he never saw coming.

It doesn't matter how beautiful or charming she is. Dante will do everything in his power to destroy the blackmail and their betrothal.

There's only one problem: now that he has her, he can't bring himself to let her go.

***

Elegant. Ambitious. Well-mannered.

Vivian Lau is the perfect daughter and her family's ticket into the highest echelons of society.

Marrying a blue-blooded Russo means opening doors that would otherwise remain closed to her new-money parents.

While the rude, elusive Dante isn't her idea of a dream partner, she agrees to their arranged marriage out of duty.

Craving his touch was never part of the plan.

Neither was the worst possible outcome: falling in love with her future husband.

Her family annoyed me especially after her father disowned her and then her sister called telling her that “he’s still our father”. I wish Vivian would’ve told her to shut the hell up and stay out of it. I feel like she took way too long to put her foot down and stand up for herself. Besides her family, more specifically her parents I enjoyed everything else… I see the hype with Dante Russo. I will never question Booktok again (this is a lie, if I didn't question everything that came out of Booktok I wouldn't be me). Thank god for audiobooks because now I live for Dante’s accent. And the pet name, I think I got a new favorite one! And I know you did not ask BUT that one scene when Dante goes home early because Christian did something to get Vivian and Heath (her ex) in the same room got me excited, like yes sir, go home and protect your woman! I loved the mentions of Christian, Stella, Queen Bridget, and her prince Rhys though they were unexpected for me. I can’t wait to read the rest of this series after I finish the Twisted series of course. ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬 ✎ 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐨 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 ↴ 💍 Steam ❤️‍🔥 Banter 💍 Swoon ❤️‍🔥 Dislike to Love 💍 Forced Proximity ❤️‍🔥 Arranged Marriage 💍 Interracial Romance ❤️‍🔥 Billionaire CEO x Jewelry Heiress 💍 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 📖

I ate this book up! Dante Russo is the man and I love the reappearance of some of the Twisted series men in here too.

This book kind of surprised me. It gave me this weird but powerful motivation to level up, be confident, be rich, and just own my life. The rich world, the power dynamic—loved that energy. Some scenes were a bit too spicy for my taste, but it wasn’t just about that. The plot had some good twists, and it kept me reading. What did bug me though: by the end, I honestly didn’t even want the guy back. Like… why?
