Brynne Weaver has done it again!!!! This is going to be another epic trilogy like the Ruinious Love trilogy! The twists and cliffhanger ending were fantastic and I cannot wait for the next book!! This is definitely one of her best works! 🥰

I eagerly anticipated the latest instalment of Weaver's "Ruins Love Trilogy" because I am a massive fan of the series. The blend of suspense and dark romantic comedy made it challenging to put the book down. It was absolutely fantastic! This story continues with a character mentioned in "Butcher & Blackbird," and I was excited to learn more about her. The plot follows Harper Starling, who loves her peaceful town of Cape Carnage until an influx of tourists disrupts it. Rather than allowing them to ruin her home, she finds creative ways to cope, such as using their presence to enhance her award-winning gardens. Nolan Rhodes arrives with a hidden agenda. Although he claims to be birdwatching, he is actually seeking revenge for a hit-and-run accident. As he targets Harper, he realises she is not who he thought she was. Their lives become intertwined, especially with the interference of an amateur true crime investigator. The writing is filled with dark humour and memorable characters like Arthur and Morpheus, who provide comic relief. Harper and Nolan are well-developed characters with intense chemistry that enhances the plot. The tension kept me on the edge of my seat, thoroughly immersed in the story. Overall, it was a delightful read, and even with a light cliffhanger, I'm excited to see where the narrative goes next.
