Time to Shine: A Spicy Bisexual Hockey Romance

From the New York Times bestselling author of Heated Rivalry comes a merry and bright hockey romance about finding your place, finding your people and finding your way back to the one you love the most.
"Rachel Reid's hockey heroes are sexy, hot, and passionate!" --#1 New York Times bestselling author Lauren Blakely
For Landon Stackhouse, being called up from the Calgary farm team is exciting and terrifying, even if, as the backup goalie, he rarely leaves the bench. A quiet loner by nature, Landon knows he gives off strong "don't talk to me" vibes. The only player who doesn't seem to notice is Calgary's superstar young winger, Casey Hicks.
Casey treats Landon like an old friend, even though they've only interacted briefly in the past. He's endlessly charming and completely laid-back in a way that Landon absolutely can't relate to. They couldn't have less in common, but Landon needs a place to live that's not a hotel room and Casey has just bought a massive house--and hates being alone.
As roommates, Casey refuses to be defeated by Landon's one-word answers. As friends, Landon comes to notice a few things about Casey, like his wide, easy smile and sparkling green-blue eyes. Spending the holidays together only intensifies their bromance-turned-romance. But as the new year approaches, the countdown to the end of Landon's time in Calgary is on.

I read this book after Heated Rivalry and I absolutely loved it.
This book is about, Casey, a young fenom hockey player who is the Legacy of an incredibly famous and rich hockey player father. He's grown up being given everything he's ever wanted and still remains down to earth and friendly to everyone.
Landon has had a tough break in his teenage years and has worked hard to become the best goalie he can be. He’s been called up to the majors. To the team where Casey currently plays and they hit it off immediately.
Casey is a major player and is bi and totally willing to get down with whoever strikes is fancy that night. Logan's sexuality is never labeled, but he is definitely asexual and demi sexual and remains a virgin at 24. Casey is the first person Logan has allowed to get close enough to him to break down his barriers, and he and Casey finally find satisfaction in a unique sexual relationship.
The plot on this is top tier. It's everything I would expect out of a Rachel Reid book.
Even for not exploring sex too much in the book. The relationship that they do have that leads to sexy times is very hot. I'm giving it 🌶🌶🌶3/5 chilies on the spicy scale.
I listened to the audio book Cooper North is fantastic!
single narrator, 2 POVs, 3rd person

Rachel Reid has DONE IT FUCKING AGAIN. How!? I loved Landon and Casey so much equally, I could see myself in them - but especially in Landon who after so much grief felt he never deserved to be happy and that there would always be a reson to deny himself of that. Rachel really has the market cornered on YEARNING, like come on. Reading Rachel's writing, always feels like come "back home" - you just get cozy and sink in.
