Four Seasons Book Clubs

Located in the heart of Shepherdstown, WV, Four Seasons Books has been a staple of the community for 35 years. Our store has a wide variety of books stocked on our shelves, and our book clubs represent that diversity.

Book club members receive 10% off the monthly selection. Copies will always be available in-store and often also on Libro.fm for audio download.

All readers with good vibes and open minds are welcome, whether you have read the book or not. At Four Seasons Books, book clubs are about community, not completion.

However, the ability to not “yuck someone’s yum” IS required for attendance as everyone has different preferences, not every book is for every person, and we want to show one another kindness and respect. Book clubs are intended to be a safe space for readers to share their thoughts and connect with others. In our efforts to be inclusive while balancing emotional comfort, please be aware that the facilitator reserves the right to ask a guest to leave if they are creating an uncomfortable environment or are not participating respectfully.
