Imagine that your husband has two other wives.
You've never met the other wives. None of you know each other, and because of this unconventional arrangement, you can see your husband only one day a week. But you love him so much you don't care. Or at least that's what you've told yourself.
But one day, while you're doing laundry, you find a scrap of paper in his pocket--an appointment reminder for a woman named Hannah, and you just know it's another of the wives.
You thought you were fine with your arrangement, but you can't help yourself: you track her down, and, under false pretenses, you strike up a friendship. Hannah has no idea who you really are. Then Hannah starts showing up to your coffee dates with telltale bruises, and you realize she's being abused by her husband. Who, of course, is also your husband. But you've never known him to be violent, ever.
Who exactly is your husband, and how far would you be willing to go to find out?
And who is his mysterious third wife?

It took me the longest time to figure out that the protagonist in the book's name is "Thursday." She's the second of three wives for her husband, Seth. She asks Seth about the other wives, but he just calls them Monday and Tuesday. She is obsessed with her husband, and only sees him on Thursday nights and he's gone in the morning before she wakes up. She starts to get curious about the other wives when she finds a receipt for a doctor visit for Monday. So she stalks her, and finds out that this arrangement with Seth might be a little more involved.
At first, it appears that Seth is physically abusing Monday, and she's pregnant. This book really kept me guessing, and I wasn't sure if Thursday was crazy, or whether Seth was lying, or what was going on.
It turns out it was a little of both, and at the end, when Thursday is incarcerated/institutionalized for shooting Seth, you find out that it was a lot of crazy, and a lot of lies. The ending, where she meets wife #1, Tuesday, and then jumps across the table at her and starts attacking her, is the crazy end of the book that I didn't expect.
Thursday is in a polygamous marriage with her husband Seth and two other wives she’s never met. Her deep love for Seth clouds her judgement causing her to agree to this insane marital arrangement. She wants to know more about these wives, but it’s goes against her agreement with Seth. Her curiosity gets the best of her as she decides to track them down. What she finds out along the way is not what she’s looking for and it opens to door to her learning about herself a bit more.
When I say I couldn’t put this book down, I mean you had to pry it from my hands. It was so good. The plot twists were immaculate. I was with her the whole way until the pieces started falling into place. I started believing I was crazy. The way she Molly whopped Regina in the end was my favorite part. 10/10 highly recommend!!!
Pay close attention to the story line the ending came as a surprise to me.
