The Wives

Very interesting read. Surprising ending for sure! I almost wish there had been more insight into what was actually going on sooner in the book, more like a trail. Instead is was kind of a slap in the face of what was actually going on. And the very last page was quite strange for the ending.

So, so good! All the twists and turns in this book had me at the edge of my seat. You think you have it figured out and then BAM, Tarryn hits you with another twist. I am so glad I chose The Wives as my first book of the decade. Tarryn Fisher NEVER disappoints.

Excellent! Not what I was expecting at all! Very compelling and I could not put it down. Easy and fast read.

No synopsis. It's better that way, I promise.

I had no idea what I was getting into with this book, other than the fact that I assumed it had to do with plural marriage. I found that I had so much trouble putting this book down. I always needed to know what was going to happen next. Of course, as soon as I thought I knew where the plot was going, I had the rug ripped out from under me! This happened on several occasions!! If you want a book that will keep you on your toes and keep you guessing "where the hell is this going now?"... this is a book for you!

This is my first Tarryn Fisher book, and I am definitely looking forward to reading more of her work. I am hoping they are all this well done!

I absolutely loved this book. I was in need of a good thriller and this did not disappoint!
