This book is a great listen! The narrators are fantastic, especially Troy Duran. He really brings Disney's sunshine personality to life! Its duet narration, dual POVs, first person, 2 narrators, and I highly recommend it.
Walker is a hotshot goalie for the LA team that Ari plays for in the last book. You know him best as Disney, the newest member of The Circle of Trust.
Olivia is a disgraced pop star with a difficult past, and she just heckeled the right goalie!
Walker sees her in the stands and falls for Olivia immediately. He wrangles her into a "one night stand" that night happens and from then on he just can't think of anything else but her. He is with her or watching her and following her every day.
When they get together he is obsessed with getting her pregnant and not only did he come to an agreement with her shitty mother and disgusting manager to get permission to move her in with him, he replaces her birth control pills with fakes. Olivia does become pregnant to both their happiness only to have her shitty mom reveal that Walker made an agreement for her and makes it sound super shady in a way that induces Olivia to break up with Walker. Walker was ready after a previous chat with Lincoln and had handcuffs at the ready and quick handcuffs them together. Olivia has a moment where she doubts Walker, but it only lasts a second and the makeup sex is epic. This moment can't even be considered a third act breakup, it's so short.
🌶🌶🌶3/5 chilis on the spicy scale. The sex was hot but repetitive. Not adventurous at all.
This has an HEA with 2 epilogues and epilogue number 2 is awesome. I can't wait for Camden's book!
