The Pucking Wrong Number: A Hockey Romance (The Pucking Wrong Series Book 1)

I really really REALLY wanted to enjoy this book but I couldn't and rushed through it as fast as possible.

I am all for twisted romances, but this one missed the mark. My additional thoughts are spoilers.


I know it was supposed to be cutesy that he fell hard and fast and was obsessive and possessive, but this was next level unhinged. What also made it more unhinged was when she matched his energy towards the end and she just gave in like keeping someone against their will was forgivable. I am sorry, what? I know it's fiction but... WHAT?!

I think this would make WAY more sense if it were a mafia romance, but hockey romance, it felt SOOOO out of place.

I liked a lot of aspects of this book but equally disliked a lot. I didn’t feel as though the possessiveness was done well. There was no rhyme or reason to Lincoln’s absolute obsession and he just went a little too far with little to no actual explanation. If he was some big mafia guy or something more along those lines I think it would have made more sense. The first part of the book was good, it had me hooked. The banter between them texting was cute/funny but the second half was just too much. I did have an OOO 😱😮😮 moment, when she saw THE TATTOO 😂 what the actual f 😂 IYKYK Although this book wasn’t a fav, I am looking forward to reading Ari’s book
