Okay. I really, really liked book one; The Pucking Wrong Number. The books have gone steadily since book one. This one is a 1 star for me, and I will read The Pucking Wrong Rookie, because i'm invested in the storyline, but if it was just a standalone I would just let it go.
In this book, we meet Anna, the homeless ballerina, and Camden, the famous pro hockey player with a heart of gold.
He rescues her and brings her into his life, into his home, and into his friendships. He has a heart for service and wants to help people rise above where he was when he was a child.
Basically, the only thing that Anna brings to the table is her looks, and that she is an entertaining ballerina.
Overall, both characters were very shallow. And we had very little buildup with their backstories and know a bit about what happened to make them the way they are, but not a really fleshed out full story.
The 11 year age gap was not brought up enough to make it seem like they really felt it was a viable hurdle for them. But then when they did comment on it, they would talk about how difficult to overcome it was.
There was little to no angst in this book at all. Anna's stepbrother was a problem, but solved extremely easily and quickly. He did not cause a problem between Anna and Camden.
Anna calls Camden Daddy and Sir both in and out of the bedroom. And Camden calls her baby girl. He spanks her a lot.
This is the least spicy of the series. š¶š¶/5 chilis on the spicy scale. I would've added more chilies had they been more adventurous and done different positions or added toys.
I have listened to the audiobook for all of these books. And it is really bothering me that the same narrators are doing all the different characters. Lincoln, Ari, and Camden are not even close to being the same man or having the same affect. In fact, one of them had a southern accent, and Tony did not do the southern accent. He does a great alpha, so he did a great Lincoln. But the rest of the men are not nearly as alpha as Lincoln is, so I think they should switch up the narrators for each of the men.

I am in awe how every book of CR Janeās just keep getting better and better! Iām here for ALL the red flags! Camden is now my favorite Pucking Wrong guy. I didnāt think anyone could top Ari butā¦ thereās something about Camdenās BDE that made me love him!
Camden was like a burnt cinnamon roll. Sweet but unhinged! I absolutely loved how Camden took care of Ana. How possessive he was over her and would do anything for her. Ana was trying to be strong and felt like she had to do everything on her own. Camden helped break her walls down and show her that itās ok to ask for help. Of course the circle of trust texting banter was laugh out loud funny. If you havenāt read this series yet, get your priorities in check and go start with The Pucking Wrong Number!
