The Olive Tree

Reading this was quite a challenge for me because I was post eye surgery when I first started it but I persevered and was glad when I got new glasses and could read more comfortably. Frankly though, it just didn’t appeal to me any more when the reading became easier. Maybe it would have been different if I hadn’t struggled at the beginning but I found it long and torturous and I found myself checking to see how many pages were left before I got to the end. For me it would have been better if there had been one not so long story followed by a sequel.
