I didn't want to like this. I loved The Midnight Library so much that I was almost deliberately trying not to go into this with high expectations. I didn't want to compare it to that book or set myself up to be disappointed. But... yeah. I loved it.
There were definitely parts that got a little too fanciful for me, and a few things were difficult for me to fully grasp, but that didn't really matter. I was invested in the story and the characters, and I just loved it.
